Progressive Conservative MLA Ross Wetmore is a small business owner and entrepreneur in the Village of Gagetown. He was elected to represent Grand Lake-Gagetown in the September 27, 2010 provincial election.
He is vice-chair of the Legislature’s Standing Committees on Crown Corporations and on Estimates and he is a member of the Standing Committee on Legislative Officers.
He was named Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure November 5, 2010.
In 1979, Mr. Wetmore and his business partner opened K&W Quality Meats. Over the years, he expanded his operations to include a grocery store, wholesale meat business, marina and restaurant.
Ross, and his wife Margaret, are supporters of various charities in the Gagetown region, including Ducks Unlimited, local volunteer fire departments, and the Gagetown Recreational Council.
He is an active member of the Gagetown Rotary Club.
