Savoie

Glen Savoie graduated from the New Brunswick Community College with a diploma in computer programming and networking. He later worked as a business service technician for Bell Aliant.

Mr. Savoie’s interest in politics began in 1987 when he worked on the campaign for Hampton-Kings Progressive Conservative MLA Bev Harrison.

He was elected to represent Saint John-Fundy in the September 27, 2010 provincial election. He is a member of the Legislature’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Select Committee on Point Lepreau.

He was named Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development, responsible for business development November 5, 2010.

He has been active in his community, working with young people in various sports activities. He is a fully certified martial arts instructor.

Mr. Savoie is 39 years old and is married with children.
