Shephard

Dorothy Shephard is a native of Saint John. She was elected to represent Saint John Lancaster in the September 27, 2010 provincial election.

She is a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, the Select Committee on Point Lepreau and she chairs the Standing Committee on Estimates.

She was named Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Local Government on November 5, 2010.

Prior to politics, Ms. Shephard owned and operated Benjamin Moore Colour Centre, a retail decorating store, for 10 years. She is also extensively involved in her community, volunteering for such organizations as the IODE, Spruce Lake Women’s Institute and Synchro New Brunswick.

Ms. Shephard lives in Saint John with her husband Art.
